- A mini version of his puppet was sold as a souvenir at the show.
- Unlike him now, his early iteration was very different. It was basically a green Cookie Monster wearing a Star Trek outfit (hence the Trekkie in his name). It was later changed to avoid any legal complications from Sesame Workshop and Paramount.
